We are called to commit our work to the Lord. When we do, we have peace, knowing that the outcome is in his hands.
I didn’t get a chance to write a full letter this week, but I wanted to share a verse that I have been meditating on, and a few thoughts on it.
Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.
Psalms 37:5 NLT
I love all Psalm 37, but this verse especially. It is a call to give up – to give up working for ourselves and instead work for God. By doing this we can trust that he is in control of both the final outcome, and the daily circumstances, even when it may not make sense.
As you consider your work, I encourage you to commit it (or recommit it) to the Lord, then go to him daily for the strength you need to do it well.
